Get to know

I'm Caitlin (pronounced Caitleen, because it's Gaelic) and one of the creative minds behind Move Over Martha. I had this big dream after being a creative person all my life, to carve out and start a business that I could work on with my mom. I always have projects on the go and come by it naturally. 

I have worked in a bunch of different industries including Weddings and Events, Retail and Government I decided that along with my "day-job" I wanted to create this business. Honestly our home couldn't handle another one of my projects. After selling a few items to my friends and family members I decided to open our business. It's been a great experience and we've even gone international with our orders. 

In our early days of our business, I would work anywhere I could find a clean table to design, build, create and package our items. As time has gone on, I converted our spare bedroom into a craft room, and my ever supportive significant other is happy he can just close the door to hid the mess. 

I fulfil your orders in my little craft room with my dog on the couch near me here in Ottawa.
